We are very pleased to announce the promotion of two new Partners with the Firm. Timothy Eagle and James Lyon have today been made Partners at Josiah Hincks Solicitors, marking a significant moment as the Firm promotes its first ever Non-Solicitor Partners.
This comes as the Firm has successfully completed its restructure with the SRA to become a Licensed Body, and thereby allowing the promotion of Non-Solicitors to the role of Partner.
The Firm took the strategic decision to restructure to a Licensed body in order to ensure it was best positioned for continued growth and development. Having achieved excellent financial results over the last two years, the decision to now restructure and expand the Board of Partners will allow the Firm to build on this growth and to continue to keep pace with the changing industry.
Restructuring to a Licensed Body not only allows the promotion of existing Non-Solicitors to the role of Partner, but it also creates a progression path for future business support employees that does not exist in a traditional Partnership. The Firm believes that by expanding its Board of Partners to include Non-Solicitors it will encourage diversity and a range of skills and expertise within its Senior Team.
Timothy has been with Josiah Hincks since 2011 and has predominantly been responsible for managing the Finances and the Finance Team. With an Honours Degree in Business Management, Timothy has a track record within the Firm of providing astute strategic advice and guidance. His eye for improvement has been fundamental in the implementation of numerous technological advances and developments over recent years.
James joined Josiah Hincks in 2015 as a Business Apprentice and has progressed through the Firm since then. In his time at the Firm he completed his Honours Degree in Business Management and has specialised in Marketing and Business Development. He currently manages the Firm’s Marketing & Business Development functions and as part of his role his has overseen a number of major developments in the Firm’s marketing practises. As with Tim, James is also part of the Firm’s Senior Management Team and provides strategic advice and insight to the Partners.
We are delighted by this development and we look forward to seeing Tim and James flourish in their new roles.
